Create a Google account and sign up for Google Search Console
It may seem obvious, but B2B Telemarketing Lead Generation first you’ll need to create a Google account if you haven’t already and log in to it.
You will be asked for your first name, last name, a username (for email) and a password. Click on validate. Once registered, you will automatically have access to the different Google tools such as the Google Search Console. The next step will be to link your site to the latter.
The first one will allow you to link the domain and subdomains in their entirety. You only have one authentication option. You will have to connect to your domain name provider’s site, copy and paste the TXT given in the domain’s DNS settings and validate.
The second one will only be able to verify and link the URL provided, i.e. your site only. If you have subdomains linked, you will have to repeat the step for each https. You will be offered several methods. We will detail them below.
Confirm that you are the owner
Google needs to be sure that you own the site in question, or at least have access to it.
You should also be aware that Google will regularly check that your site still complies with the chosen validation method. If validation can no longer be confirmed in this way, your permissions may expire. There are several methods to confirm that you are the owner of the site. I will present them to you below, from the simplest to the most complex.
If you choose to validate the property this way, you will need to download the file that Google Search Console suggests. This file will then need to be imported into your site. Be careful though, because if you delete it from your site (for example due to a theme change), the validation will no longer be valid.
Connect with your domain name
This step is, in my opinion, the most Hong Kong Lead complex. It will ask you to have in your possession the access codes to your domain name provider , information that we may lack when the site was created before our arrival at the company by a person who is no longer there or simply by an agency. And I speak from experience. But you should know that you can validate the ownership of a site by adding a DNS record to your domain name provider.
