The Great Bronze Buddha : located in the surroundings of the Hong Kong lead Kotokuin temple , it is the second largest Buddha in Japan. It is 13.35 m high and was originally housed inside the temple (13th century). However, with the passage of time natural disasters destroyed the temple and the inhabitants of Kamakura decided to leave it in the open.
